The Other Woman

Chamberland lit up the stage at Jazz Lives 2008 and her new release; The Other Woman shines just as brightly. Backed by a who's who of musicians including Guido Brasso, Phil Dwyer, Robi Botos and more, The Other Woman is infused with lush arrangements and luxurious vocals that dazzle on this new release.

"A phenomenal voice, romantic love songs, touching renditions… a fantastic release from this amazingly talented woman."

In Review: Dripping Indigo

DRIPPING INDIGO... Elegance and sensuality mingle in the music of smoky-voiced chanteuse Chantal Chamberland. Smooth as a dry martini and equally intoxicating, Chamberland's third album DRIPPING INDIGO cements her role as one of the best interpreters of classic songbook favorites. With a repertoire that features "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" and "How Deep Is Your Love," the album slowly seduces with its corner jazz club ambience and torch singer grace..."

Serendipity Street (2004)

With her smoky, late-night-at-the-club vocal presence, Chantal Chamberland is like a singer from a different era - one from the days when standards by Gershwin and Berlin were pop songs of the moment and vintage jazz was the height of fashion. SERENDIPITY STREET is a showcase for the artist's passionate, velvety singing voice and her equally adept skills as a guitarist. Featured are a series of standards, pop covers and original pieces, which include soulful renditions of Billie Holiday's classic "God Bless the Child," Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" and Willie Nelson's "Crazy." With each of these timeless torch songs, Chamberland proves herself as a singer with the chops to go up against the best of today's jazz innovators. You'll definitely want to check out this album if you are a fan of Diana Krall.

This is Our Time (2002)

Slow burning passion and world-weary grit coalesce in the sultry, urban nightclub-style vocals of Chantal Chamberland. The Canadian singer/songwriter mines the depths of emotion once again with her album THIS IS OUR TIME, a collection of original compositions, pop covers and classic torch songs. With her mature, aggressive vocal delivery, Chamberland turns each of these songs into an intense display of soul-searching poignancy. Included is a lusciously smoky rendition of the Peggy Lee classic "Fever," an already sensual song that Chamberland makes even more potent. Also included are covers of Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose" and The Eurythmics' "Here Comes the Rain Again"
